Here I would periodically update my progress with level design in this 40k mod I'm working on. Concurrently I'm testing immersion with generated music; inspired from souls-like musical inferences per setting. I start sketching with color first to block where I'm going to place larger props, then I play with heightmaps to experiment with A.I pathfinding and combat simulations, then I refine the colors to guide the players' eyes and provide landmark cues.
I've been inspired by Dawn of War 4 to go on to mod warhammer 40k themed maps. The assets I will be using is the vanilla Call To Arms: Gates of Hell props, before porting over warhammer stuff.
