"Mise en place" is a culinary concept wherein one prepares their ingredients in advance before cooking. In a design context, I've made a lot of different shape elements in advance for later design undertakings. The same principle applies. Time is a currency we can only spend once, and this process of creating has shaved considerable time off of my workflow. I leverage the procedural generation/Batch export capabilities of Houdini to create variations of useful stamps in Adobe Medium. This makes it alot easier to make variations to choose from when making things from Ships to Mechs. I've been doing research and development with the two software for quite some time, and have amassed a library of over 10,000 assets in little less than a month. Here is the results thus far. Later on I'll break everything down in depth should one be interested in integrating the two software together into one's workflow.
